Following Nikkei's purchase of the U.K.'s Financial Times, the department saw rapid change and expansion. Part of that change was a focus on quality web content, including data visualization and its in-depth storytelling ability through graphic display of information.
Used for both web and print editions, this data-rich piece featured maps, graphics and a detailed timeline to explain the implications of, and international reaction to, the increasing nuclear threat posed by North Korea.
